Karl Fast is the Director of Information Architecture at Normative, a software design studio in Toronto. He is formerly a professor of user experience design at Kent State University. His work focuses on designing for a world with abundant information. Karl is a founding member of the Information Architecture Institute and the co-author, with Stephen Anderson, of the forthcoming book Design for Understanding. He lives with his family in Minneapolis.
